QR Reader Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how QR Reader handles information when you scan, create, save, and revisit QR codes.

2. Overview
QR Reader is designed to scan, create, save, and revisit QR codes in a clear and structured flow. We aim to minimize unnecessary data processing and keep user data on the device whenever possible.
3. Information the App May Process
Depending on the features you choose to use, QR Reader may process:
- Camera access, when you choose live QR scanning
- Photo library access, when you choose to scan a QR code from an image or save a generated QR image
- QR content you scan or generate
- Favorites and history records stored locally on your device
- Contact information contained in scanned QR content, if you choose to add it to Contacts
- Calendar event information contained in scanned QR content, if you choose to add it to Calendar
4. Why the App Uses This Information
- To scan QR codes with the camera
- To read QR content from selected images
- To generate QR codes from user-provided content
- To save history and favorites locally on the device
- To preview links before opening them
- To let you copy, share, or reuse QR content
- To create system contact or calendar entries only when you explicitly request it
5. Permissions
QR Reader may request these permissions:
- Camera: to scan QR codes live
- Photos: to scan codes from images and save generated QR images
- Contacts: to create contact entries from compatible QR codes
- Calendar: to create calendar events from compatible QR codes
Permissions are requested only when relevant to the feature you choose to use.
6. Storage and Retention
History and favorites are stored locally on your device. They remain there until you delete them in the app or remove the app from your device.
QR Reader does not require an account.
7. Sharing and Transfers
We do not sell personal data.
We do not share scanned or generated QR content with third parties unless:
- you explicitly choose to share content using system share actions
- you explicitly open a web link in your browser
- you explicitly save contact or calendar information into Apple system apps
8. Web Links
If a QR code contains a website link, QR Reader may show a preview of the destination before you open it. The link is opened in your browser only after you confirm the action.
9. App Store Privacy Disclosure
App Store privacy answers must reflect the actual implementation of the app and any integrated third-party SDKs or services. If data is processed only on-device and not transmitted to a server, some processing may not be considered “data collected” under Apple’s App Privacy rules.
10. Your Rights
Where applicable under local law, you may have the right to request information about processing, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or other legal rights related to your personal data.

11. Children
QR Reader is not specifically directed to children unless otherwise stated on its App Store product page.

QR Reader, Anawis Studio tarafından sunulmaktadır. Uygulama; QR kod tarama, QR kod oluşturma, bağlantı önizleme, geçmiş ve favorileri cihaz üzerinde saklama, ayrıca kullanıcı talebi üzerine kişi ve takvim kaydı oluşturma işlevlerini sunar.
Uygulamanın kullanım şekline bağlı olarak kamera erişimi, fotoğraf erişimi, QR içerikleri, uygulama içi geçmiş ve favori kayıtları ile kullanıcı tarafından açıkça işleme alınan kişi veya etkinlik verileri işlenebilir.
Veriler, uygulamanın temel işlevlerini yerine getirmek, QR kodları çözümlemek, kullanıcı girdilerine göre QR oluşturmak, geçmiş ve favorileri cihazda saklamak ve yalnızca kullanıcının açık talebi doğrultusunda kişi veya takvim kaydı oluşturmak amacıyla işlenebilir.
QR Reader kural olarak kişisel verileri geliştirici sunucularına aktarmadan cihaz üzerinde işler. Ancak kullanıcı açıkça paylaşım, tarayıcıda açma, kişiler veya takvim uygulamasına kaydetme işlemlerini seçerse ilgili bilgiler Apple sistem uygulamalarına veya kullanıcının seçtiği hedefe aktarılabilir.
